The inspiration of this song and its words came when I was about to speak to a group of drug addicts about God’s love. I was asking the Lord, “What should I share?” and was thinking of all ways in which I could mentor them to give up their addictions. That’s when the Holy Spirit told me to just tell them “As I am, so are they (1 John 4:17).” Wow, we are just like Him, beyond condemnation – That’s the most powerful revelation that a child of God can have : Kim Dsouza.
Once a child of God begins to function from the revelation of who he is, and  what God has done for Him, he will never be bound. In the spirit, we are exactly like Jesus with no guile and perfect in the sight of our Father. This song is to remind you of who you are! God calls you a son, and that’s what who you are. This also means you don’t have to try to become like Him, because in the spirit, You = Him: Derrick Dsouza

This song is the Hindi version of the song “Miracles” originally written by Chris Quilala of Jesus Culture. Translated by Kim Dsouza and sung by Derrick, this song is a powerful declaration of faith in a God, who is a God of miracles, and who is steadfast in His love.

 

The words of this song has to be the anthem of every child of God – I believe in you- Vishwas hai. A faith to lay hold of every promise that God has fulfilled in His son Jesus and given to us by His Grace – Blind eyes to open, deaf ears to hear and dead to rise. This song is an invitation for you to partner with this God by faith and see the impossible.

This song echoes the story of majority of us who may sincerely want to live for God, be good, get free, but always fall miserably short of victory. The key to victory that alluded me for 25 years of my life was the belief that in all my attempts, I would finally one day make it out clean. That’s a lie because you can never do what God has destined that He would do for you.

So, if you are still holding on to all your attempts and will power, its time to let go and go to Him as you are. For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God and are freely justified by his Grace though the redemption that came through Christ Jesus (Rom 3:23).

If you will not surrender to Him and give him your WHOLE life, you will be trying for the rest of your life to earn what was free! For it is, and will always be, “All by His Grace”

Pastor Derrick D’Souza had a radical encounter with the Lord in 2008, when he saw an open vision of the Lord Jesus on the cross, and he was filled with the Holy Spirit and was instantly born again. Following this, the Lord Jesus used him to boldly declare the Gospel through massive street evangelism, confirming the Word preached  through healing, deliverance and salvation. 

Having moved into the office of a prophetic teacher and minister of the Word, he continues to be passionate about building God’s kingdom through the power of the Gospel, carrying the revival fire wherever he ministers.

Pastor Derrick is also an author and a musician who is gifted in the area of prophetic worship.

My Family

Pastor Derrick’s family comprises his wife Kim, who is a support to him in the ministry and kids Jeremiah and Amyra. God brought them together in 2012, and as a couple their vision is to stir up a generation to pursue Jesus like never before. Currently they make their home in the city of Mumbai, India.  

My Spiritual Parents

Pastors Derrick and Kim are accountable to their spiritual parents Prophet Shyju and Prophetess Tiny Mathew, founders of Revive Nations, who have been a voice over their lives.   They are very grateful to God for this spiritual covering and for planting them in this spirit-led stream, as living stones, further connected to the Cornerstone.

Founded by Pastors Derrick and Kim, the vision of Pursue Him International is simply to Raise Jesus. And they do that through Ministry (First unto the Lord, and then unto men), Mentoring (Sow into raising of Kingdom Influencers) and Media (Bring the Gospel into limelight through media).
